Our Stay in London (Spain&Italy)

This trip has been my favorite of all that I have done. London has opened me up to new opportunities. I have discovered that I can have new friends from other countries because we are able to communicate in English, something I doubted I could do. Any time on this trip has been my favorite,&nbsp;but without a doubt the last day we all spent together was the best.&nbsp;That day I enjoyed it to the fullest. The relationship with everyone was strengthened, we were singing, talking as if we had known each other for life. I realized that this trip had been the best, that I didn't regret having gone.&nbsp; I just have to thank everyone who made me so happy on this trip. London is a beautiful city, everything there is wonderful. I loved living the experience of visiting Harry Potter platform 9 3/4 with two of my best friends. We have missed many things to visit and I think we all agree that we will return, maybe together. Celia (Spain)

One of my favorite moments in London was visiting Camden. A very nice tourist area full of shops where we could buy many things. I also loved the last dienner&nbsp;and the boat trip. The dinner site was very nice and the food was delicious. But the best of dinner was the company, I especially had a great time with the British with whom we had a very good relationship and I hope to see them soon in my city. The visit to the London Eye was one of the ones I liked the most since we could see London from the heights and admire how beautiful it is. I would repeat this experience without thinking and I hope that the rest have the opportunity to come to Spain. Joel (Spain)

My stay in London was something fantastic! Although I had already been to London, reliving this experience with many new people allowed me to live as if it were the first time. It was an opportunity to learn about languages, traditions, and habits of different ethnic groups! Everything we saw in London had something fantastic and attractive. The activities proposed and carried out in college were focused on the theme of inclusion: we created a logo on inclusion in mixed groups, we carried out many interactive activities and made a poster on our stay in London, with the most beautiful places visited and performed activities. I want to talk about my trip to London. First of all I want to comment that it was my first trip outside of Spain with my colleagues and I am very grateful for it. London has opened my eyes and made me see that not everything is the same as here, this opportunity has made me strengthen my relationship with my colleagues, make new friends and practice my English. OUR STAY IN LONDON Southwark College Erasmus+ Project Unity in Diversity 23rd-29th February 2020

After the mobility to London March 2020

Our trip to London was awesome. We had a great opportunity to meet people from other countries, which is something not that usual. I really liked the city, and I think is the place I liked the most between the places I’ve been to. I was surprised by the fact that it is so urbanized, meaning that for example Paris is with more tourists and more faced to them, and England is way different. The place I liked the most was the London Eye and Candem Town. In the London Eye I really enjoyed the views, as I’m really passionate about rather urban or natural views, and in Candem Town I enjoyed the atmosphere in there, I don’t really know how to explain it. Finally, I loved to have the opportunity to see a friend of mine in another country, which is not so usual. Also, my friend recommended us a restaurant, which we liked so much. To sum up, all this experience has been incredible, I won’t ever forget it. Alexia (Spain)

I consider the trip to London unforgettable:both for the beautiful things that the city offers and for meeting young people from other countries with whom to make a strong friendship . When i arrived in London i immediately fell in love with the place,full of cheerful people and beautiful places to visit,such as:The London Eye,Greenwich, The Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace. The hotel where we stayed guaranteed every comfort we needed at any time.Part of our days spen in Southwhare college have taught me many things,such as:using graphics softwares (Photoshop and Canva),expanding my vocabulary in English and understanding what unity and diversity means,by staying with all the guys of the project. In the afternoon we spent the days visiting the various areas of London ,moving mainly by train,underground and bus; although,we walked a lot. The difficulties i encountered were due&nbsp;to adapting to the English timetables and to finding one's way in London,trying to use the most appropriate roads.The presence of the teachers was fundumental as, in addition to being good teachers, they also behaved like good parents towards us. Honestly, this trip could perfectly be my favorite of all that I´ve done. The trip itself was great, even though I had already been once to London. But for me the important part that I will never forget is the experience, independently&nbsp;of the city. Getting to know the italians and british was very nice, and having fun with the people and spending such a great time together was what really counted. Also, the games we played at the college while socialising&nbsp;were very fun. I don´t regret any of it. We visited a couple museums that I really enjoyed seeing again, they were full of interesting stuff: the British museum and the Natural History museum. We also visited the National Gallery museum, where we saw many paintings.&nbsp;I liked going in the London Eye, where I hadn´t been before. I hadn´t been to Candem Town before either, which I absolutely loved; it was full of nice things on sale and had a comfortable atmosphere. Plus, the futuristic store Cyberdog was amazing! I hadn´t seen anything like it before. I would have loved to stay longer. David (Spain)

The trip to London has been much more than a trip. The trip to London was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I have known several interesting places, even places which, at some point in my life, I would have liked to run into. I have had the great opportunity to make this trip so special, so full of emotions. It is very enjoyable to be on a trip accompanied by wonderful teachers who can teach you something extra. We have visited many places, but for me, one of the best experiences has been meeting wonderful people, people wanting to meet more people. I liked to stay with every detail of this trip. At first it was difficult to get close to our companions, but the day we said goodbye to all of them, that moment when everything ended, marked us all in our hearts. Honestly this trip to London has been one of the best experiences I have ever had. All of us who went to London have met a lot of new people, we have socialized both with Italian people, and with British people, and it has been great. The college we went to was very good, we had our own ID cards and we did a different activity every day with the British college participants and the Italian classmates. From London the place that I liked the most was the London Eye, together with our visit to Candem Town, the dinner on the last day was great since we practiced a lot of English and it was great to be with the British and Italians at the table. In the future I would like to return, and I miss everything from there and especially the people we met. Dariel (Spain)

This Erasmus in London was full of surprises because this city is fantastic and it's full of wonderful places. I was amazed by the museums we visited, for example I really liked the Natural History Museum. The Tower Bridge, the London Eye, the Greenwich Meridian, Buckingham Palace really impressed me. I enjoyed the various neighborhoods in London (Camden Town, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus). The means of transport were really efficiente (for example buses, trams, the London Overground, the shuttle). It was a beautiful experience because we met new people, the spanish and english guys. Thanks to this Erasmus we have improved our english. At Southwark college we did some activities to help us talk with other guys and so to become friends easily. We are still in contact with the spanish and english guys and this is a wonderful thing because I would never have imagined all of this from this experience in London. I hope to return to this exciting city and I hope one day to meet the fantastic people I met in this Erasmus again. Chiara (Italy)

The trip to London has been amazing. In the morning, we went to the College and when we arrived, I didn´t think it was going to be so modern and wonderful. There, we did different activities with the british and italians students. Then we made lunch and went&nbsp;to visit the city. What I liked most was the London Eye. It was amazing to see thw whole city with the river. I also really liked Camden Town because there were all kinds of shops and things to buy. At dinner, we used to go to different restaurants in the areas where we were. Last day, we stayed in the College because we had visited everything and the day was bad and it rained. Then we took a boat until we arrived to where we have dinner. I would love to return and study there because it is a beautiful city and if is posible, i want study there with my friends. From 23 March to 29 March 2020 I and other 10 guys spent a week in London thanks to the Erasmus project "Unity in Diversity". This experience was very nice but above all useful for our growth. We have grown up a lot, culturally and socially. We have lived, even if for a short time, in a completely different reality from ours. We managed to overcome many of our fears, such as speaking in public, moving around in a huge city so different from the ones we are used to. We managed to do all this thanks to the help of the excellent group we were part of. We also met new people and improved our communication skills using English as a common language. The only negative thing about this experience was the duration, I would have liked to stay in London at least two more weeks. I wish a could repeat experiences like this one a thousand times. Our trip to London was very special to me. It wasn't just a fun trip to visit the most important ladmarks in London, but also a jourey&nbsp;where we were able to meet a lot of interesting people. I remember meeting the team from Italy during our first night there. And after a couple of days we were able to meet the Eglish team better. The activities in Southwark college every morning were really fun, and helped to break the ice between the different teams.&nbsp; We were also able to visit several important landmarks in London while making bonds with people from different countries. Overall, I am very grateful for this experience since I was able to learn a lot from people with different cultures while practicing our English, going to beautiful places and having loads of fun. I really hope we stay in touch and see each other again when the Coronavirus situation is over! Valeria (Spain)

During this experience I had the opportunity to get to know and compare myself with different cultures and societies, different from the context in which I am used to. During this week I met fantastic people who helped me grow as well as improving my knowledge of English because the goal of the experience was this. This trip was also an opportunity to get to know new cities, in this case London. This was the first time that I have participated in Erasmus that I hope to repeat the future, even with the same companions. Everyone has proved helpful and I think I have found friends. I think this friendship will continue after the trip. All this thanks to the support of my teachers and foreign teachers who have helped us at any time.
