A butterfly usually flies by day and feed on nectar.
The butterfly goes through a process called metamorphosis. Which is the process some animals go through to become adults.
Butterflies are known for their colorful wings that sometimes lets animals know that they do not want to be eaten. The bright colors and markings warn predators that they will not have a pleasant taste.
