As they opened up the box, a Jazzy disco like glow came from within, "EPIC!" screamed Danny. "Mmmmm, wats going on over there?" shouted Mrs Allbright. "Completely nothing ,he he, nothing at all!". "Ok but no more loud noises".

"Ok" whispered Danny "and sorry". They crept out off the class and into the cleaner room (it was only used after school). They took the writhing board game out of the box. It was wriggling as if trying to run away."Oops" said Susy as the board game dropped to the floor. "Noo" Susy hissed , and when they picked it up the front glass screen had been smashed!!! A huge surge of futuristic electricity burst out of the shattered screen. The cupboard was lit up with the most artificial colours they had ever seen. Then, BANG! The door burst open and in came the thunderous voice of Mrs Allbright.

Later....the clock struck midnight. An almighty BANG was herd coming from the cleaning closet. Then came the sound of clinking armour and bones rattling. Next morning, nothing was the same.

When Danny and Susy arrived at school, the windows had been smashed and ghostly foot prints were strewn across the school's play ground. One thing stood out to Danny and Susy; the door to the cleaning room had been ripped straight off its hinges. They both knew something had gone wrong that night. Something had gone very ,very wrong.

As Susy and Danny looked up through the skylight, they noted the strange lights behind the clouds and the distant hum of engines. They walked past the cleaning closet and as Susy reached to get the board game, there came a voice. "Griiigrrm". A bony hand came out of the shadows, and a huge black rain cloud went over the sun. "Finish the game" said a voice that sounded like bones scraping together. "It is the portal to the under world, I have come from the past to warn you! You must finish the game to stop them from coming". "Stop who from coming?" said Susy. "Rezok, the ancient destroyer of worlds, mine was destroyed but yours could be saved". With that the ancient hand retracted, as Susy looked up she saw six green eyes staring back.

And so, as they were told, after school they played and the deeper they got into the game the more the world felt tightened and safe. Just as they had finished, a shout came from outside. Susy and Danny saw a whole fleet of starfighters coming straight to EARTH, but as they approached the smaller landing ships began to fall apart. They burst into flames as they twirled down and crashed in a eruption of red, the bigger ships tried to turn away but were pulled in. Bits of their armour plates had been torn off and in their place were flames. The biggest ship just managed to turn away, its boosters rared up and it vanished in a little twinkle.
