A Social Story about Reception Class

This is the green gate where you enter the school grounds from the car park. You can arrive at school between 8.45 and 9am.

Here is our outside area. We have a construction site, a mud kitchen, a playhouse, water play equipment, a sand pit, fairy garden and the big blocks. We also have a sensory garden and a vegetable patch. There are always jobs to do to keep it a nice place to play!

Here is the climbing trail. We can play on here each day when it is our turn on the big field. 

Here is your classroom. We will play in here, tell stories in here, sing songs, draw, paint and build in here. We will learn about letters and numbers and all sorts of interesting things. We will also eat our lunch in our classroom.

Welcome to Reception at Bramfield Primary School. We are Oak Class

Here is the hand gel we will use to keep our hands safe and clean. We can also wash our hands in our cloakroom sinks. We count to 20 to make sure they are really clean!

We can't wait to see you. Don't forget your sun hat, water bottle and 'Special Things' bag. I wonder what you will bring in to share with us?

Mrs Shepherd teaches on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Mrs Teager teaches on a Wednesday and Thursday.

We are very lucky to have Miss Clarke with us everyday.

This is the Early Years Entrance. You will come through this gate and into our outside area where we will meet you and your grown-up at the door.
