“Bye mom!” Lucy yelled to her mom. She rushed to her seat. She always sits with Emy. Her best friend is Emy. “Hi Lucy,” “Hi Emy.” Lucy continued “Do you think Miss Kayla is nice?”Asked Emy “Yaw.”ancerd Lucy 20 minutes later, they were at school. They pushed their way to the doors to the school and entered the school. “Class class.” announced Miss Kayla. They replied with “Yes, yes.” Today we have a test in math, an open response on animals to see how your writing is going, and an IRLA spelling and reading test. Lucy retrieved her math test. There was a lot of questions. Lucy thought to herself “Wow! 12+649-350+45=... carry the one... add the two.”

“This is really hard. I can't do this. I guess I have to guess the answer.” Lucy mumbled to herself. She was trying to think but her head was popping. She looked around and people were finishing. She didn't feel like asking the teacher because she new she knows she will feel embarrassed. She heard the clock ticking. “Tick Tick” she peered at the at the clock. Lucy was running out of time. Lucy scribbled her answers down. She walked steep by steep. Took her pom out and put her paper in the bin. She was really nervous about what her teacher was going to think and her parents were going to think. “Lucy come hear.” said Miss Kayla. “Lucy is this your paper?” “Yes,” she answered” Ok everybody you can read, wall I check the tests. Lucy got her test back 0 out of 200.

Writing time. “Nooooooooooo not another test,” Lucy yelled in her head. Miss Kayla gave out the tests. I don't know what animals to write it on. This is getting really hard. I will do a bunny. Let's see I know that some times that they eat their own poop. What 20 sentences I don't know that much about bunnies. Time was running out again. She still doesn't want to ask for help. Her mine was blank. She felt notches. She didn't do her work any more. “ Class 5 minutes left.” Miss Kayla informed the class. Lucy thou fake and true things on her paper. She peered at the clock. 5 minutes left. She was nervous again. She went step by step. She throw the paper in the bin and walked away.

A week later Lucy got Miss Kayla as a tutter because Lucy told her mom that the test was hard and after showed her mom her test. “Let's begin with math.” 1 hour went on and now she got to writing. Another hour went on and finley she is on reading. 1 year later she had the end of the year test. She got 199 out of 200. Also she got a great report card.
