What Is Teen Activism?
You're probably wondering, what is teen activism?
Well, teen activism is the, "Doctrine, or practice a vigorous action or involvement as a means of achieving political or other goals" says dictionary.com.
In other words, teen activism is work done by teens in countries to solve big problems. In other words, teen activism is work done by teens in countries to solve big problems.

Alex Lin, a teen activist, was 9 years old when he started to care about E-waste (2004). E-waste is "Electronic waste or e-waste describes discarded electrical or electronic devices. Used electronics which are destined for reuse, resale, salvage, recycling, or disposal are also considered e-waste." says Wikipedia.
what is happening to our environment?
Our environment is in trouble, as you may have heard our environment is being polluted in the air the water and on the ground.

In the water, plastic from all around the world gets in to the ocean and sea life eats it and their bodies can't handle the plastic or trash in their stomach.
In the air, gasses from factories known as green house gas, is destroying our o-zone, a layer in the stratosphere that blocks the most powerful rays of the sun.
On the ground, all of our garbage that we throw in our trash cans gets put in to landfills or garbage dumps, which leaks toxic chemicals into the ground and water around it making it unsafe to humans and animals.
What teen activists are doing for our environment?
Teen activist are helping our environment in what way? you may be asking well, Teen activist are protesting about something they believe needs a change, or a better way of life, like a recycling program or how Alex Lin made a petition to ban dumping electronics out, there are many ways activist help the environment and theirs many teen activists who believe the environment needs a change.
