Reception class transition book

Welcome to Reception Class at Spixworth Infant School<br/><br/>Miss Newstead

There will be other adults working with you too<br/>

They will help you to learn both indoors and outdoors

We have three main rules - we are Ready, Respectful and Safe.

I will ask my teacher if I can go to the toilet when I need it.

You start the day entering the classroom via the playground.

School starts at 8:45 and finishes at 3:15.

The visual timetable shows what we are doing each day.<br/>

Each day, some things stay the same and other things change.

I will know when I am doing well as I may get verbal praise, a house point, a Marvellous Me Message sent home, a certificate or a class reward.

We have free flow learning so can choose between being outdoors and indoors.

On a PE day we come to school in our PE kit

We will let you know which day closer to the time.

We come into the classroom from the outside door.

Our coats and bags are hung on pegs in our cloakroom.

We are looking forward to meeting you in September.
