How to keep a fair test
. We will keep the same:
- the amount of water in each cup
. We will change:
- the material we use around the cup
. We will observe:
- the temperature of the water as the ice melts

OUR RESULTS

. We found that the cloth was the best material to keep the water warm.

. At each 30 second interval, we noticed that the temperature of the water in the cup insulated by cloth dropped the least compared to the other 2 cups.

. We concluded that cloth is the best insulator.
