Croatia has fascinating architecture. There are ancient Roman remains,stone architecture of the coast and medieval towns, castles and churches with  Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements. You can also see traditional wooden cottages preserved in Etno villages and so much more.

Walking the streets of coastal Croatia you can really feel the spirit of ancient times.
The Pula Arena is among the world's six largest surviving Roman arenas. Gladiator fights were also held there and in the Middle Ages, the Arena was used for knightly tournaments and fairs.
Today it provides special experinece for concerts and other cultural manifestations.

Roman Forum in Zadar
Diocletian's Palace is an ancient palace built for the Roman emperor Diocletian which today forms about half the old town of Split.
Under Julius Ceasar, parts of Croatia became part of the Roman Empire and Zadar is the city full of roman architecture such as this Roman forum and Land City Gates
