Add decks or whatever you would like to have in your insect fort!  

You do not have to glue or tape at all if you don’t want to. Just stack your materials like you would wooden blocks.

A flange will make sure your fort is stable.

Glue or tape the arms of the flange to the base

Forts are fun! You can draw forts, or build forts with bricks or blocks if you want to! All that matters is the making.

There are different materials you can use to attach the parts of your fort.

Look in your recycling bin to gather your supplies. You can mix recyclables with your nature finds to make your fort!

To build a strong base for your fort, cut lines at the end of a cardboard tube, just like you see in the picture. This is a cardboard attachment called a flange.

Sketch a design for your fort. It is okay to change your ideas as you build.
