The Haunted Mansion

“It’s perfect “ Mum said, I rolled my eyes at her.

I pushed open the heavy oak door as soon as I stepped foot into the pitch black house, it had felt like i've been here before but I couldn’t explain how.
The next morning I woke up feeling sore and dizzy.
“Caylee Caylee”,Mum yelled while buttering the toast.
I headed downstairs,”what are you still doing in your pj’s now go upstairs and go get ready, but no buts now go” Mum shouted!

As I headed out the door I stared at the rundown mansion next door, it was like if we had some kind of connection.I arrived at school Ring Ring just as the bell went oh no!!! I can’t be late on the first day of, CRASH!!!sorry I wasn't watching where I was going to the new girl I knocked over.

“Hey you must be the new girl”Betty smirked as she got up oh sorry I didn’t even introduce myself well hi i'm Betty and this is Veronica why don’t we give you a free tour of school?

“Sure” I smiled.

Ring Ring the bell went for home time, I rushed home quickly as if I was trying to catch a burglar.I opened the door handle chucked my bag inside the house,” Mom i’m going to the mansion next door” I yelled!

“Ok sweetheart” Mum muttered with a slight grin on her face.

The sun was slowly disappearing, the mansion was like an old lady peering at people as they walk past, there was a row of rose bushes leading to the front door, lighting struck, black clouds surrounded the house, tall leafless trees were standing tall like statue, it had shattered windows with mouldy looking curtains blowing everywhere like a angle, the gate itself made a horrible creaking sound when we opened it.The door was slightly open and the door handle had fresh blood dripping down into a small puddle below, I slipped into the house through the tiny gap.
