Hi, my name is Miss Peverell and I teach in Year 1. I have taught at Reid Street for a long time and love being part of the Reid Street family.

I am lucky enough to have two children (who are now grown up) and we are very close. I also have a crazy Golden Retriever called Elsie and a grumpy cat called Tress. They pester each other constantly. When it is sunny, you can find us all in the garden pottering around, usually with a coffee in my hand. Reading is a passion. I love listening to music but I am a terrible singer. I enjoy reading and going on holiday - often in our touring caravan around the Lake District, Yorkshire and the Borders.
Hi! I’m Miss Walker and I am one of the Year 1 class teachers. I have been at Reid Street for 4 years now and I have worked all over the school doing lots of different things, but I really enjoy teaching in Year 1 as it is such a fantastic year! The progress seen from September to July is wonderful; watching the children flourish into wonderful little humans is amazing!

When I’m not at school you can usually find me relaxing with my family, going to see Arsenal women's football team play or enjoying the theatre with my Mum. I am a total crazy cat lady, but I also love to see any pets the children may have at home - send me a picture of them and we can share it with the class.
Hi, I’m Mrs Nevison. I am a teaching assistant in Year 1. I began my Reid Street journey, working in Reception and did so for several years. I have now been in Year 1 for 5 years and really enjoy teaching and supporting the children with their learning!
Outside of school I love going to the gym however due to current circumstances, I am now enjoying long walks around Darlington. It’s been great to discover beautiful areas within my town!
I don’t like heights but my guilty pleasure is riding fast roller coasters! Our family holidays are normally action packed so I also like to have relaxing getaways. At home I enjoy watching medical dramas. My favourite is Grey’s Anatomy!
Hi, I am Mrs Risbey and I am the newest member of the team.  I am a Teaching Assistant and work across Y1 and Y2 as well as working with a small group in The Ladybird Room. I am here to support and encourage all the children I work with, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family; we often go on long walks together and have climbed several mountains including Catbells in the Lake District and Snowdon in Wales! I spend my Thursday evenings coaching Aycliffe Junior Running Club at Shildon Athletic Track. If I get a chance to have any R&R time I like to watch medical and detective dramas on TV.
