By: Skyler SchreibThere are many risks In Joining the war for the Great American Revolution. And this book Will tell you all about it. Using example from The notorious Benedict Arnold.
One risk that Benedict Arnold took was that joining the war with out a family consent.
One risk that Benedict Arnold took was that joining the war with out a family consent.
The risk of joining the war (French and Indian) is that you can be away from your family and miss something important for example when Benedict Arnold was at war the text states " He heard from someone who'd recently come from Norwich that his mother was vary sick, possibly dyeing." (reference from page 12)
luckily he made it to his mother on time but she did end up dyeing.
another risk that comes with joining the war with out an ok is that you cant communicate with family easy. We know this because in the previous quote it states "he heard from someone who had recently came from Northwick."(page 12) showing that he had no communication with his mom.
Also Benedict Arnold rebelled putting him in the risk of harming himself for example "up at the burning barn and there, on the top of the slanted roof holding out his arms for balance, was benedict Arnold."(page 9) this shows that benedict Arnold is putting himself at risk by doing dangerous stunts. (don't do dangerous stunts then no risk.)
Also, Benedict Arnold built a canon and the text states " he yelled "huzza!" as the cannon spit fire past his face"(page 20) this shows a physical risk because he could have heart himself. Stand back from things that could hurt or burn you.
