My name is Peggy Bawden. I grew up in the Salt Lake Valley, have lived with my husband in West Jordan for 23 years and before that we lived in spectacular Montana for 17 years.

Reading is one of my favorite hobbies and I spend a lot of time curled up with a good book.

I have sung with the Mountain West Chorale for 20 years and I love making beautiful music with my friends.

This is my 22nd year working in the school office in Jordan District. I love coming to work every day. There is never a dull moment and this year promises to be like no other.

If I’m not at school you can often find me hanging out with at least one of my 5 kids or my 7 adorable grandchildren. Being a grandma is so fun!

We have a dog named Beefer. She is a miniature daschund. She likes to chase balls, but they have to be the fuzzy kind like tennis balls.

My husband and I live in West Jordan. We raised our two daughters and son here. It's a great place for families!

One of my ultimate favorite things to do is travel with my family. We have been on many exciting trips and spend time building memories. Another favorite of mine is to read. That hasn't been on the top of my list my whole life, however, it is something that I have recently come to enjoy. I love teaching and working with students and teacher, and my ultimate goal is to help teacher love teaching as much as I do.

I cannot wait to meet all of you and learn along with you. Welcome to the Antelope Canyon family! One of my favorite mottos is, "You'll never have this day again, so make it count!"

Hello, I am Natalie Walker. I am a district Instructional Coach for Antelope Canyon. I am so excited to have this opportunity tow work alongside the amazing staff and teachers at this school. I am so impressed by their professionalism, hard work ethic, and positive attitudes during this challenging time, and know that you are all lucky to come to this school.

I currently live here in West Jordan. I was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho and live there a good portion of my life. I have an amazing husband and four outstanding children. My children's ages range from 12 to 23 so we have a lot going on in our home and it's fun to be a part of.

I have a chocolate lab, Belle, and a white lab, Jasmine who are always eager to play and be part of our adventures!

My husband and I have one son and one daughter and two crazy dogs!! We live in West Jordan and love the neighborhood we live in.

The School Community Council set three goals for the 2020-21 school year. Goal 1: Encourage well-rounded learning by providing a music program for all students. A portion of the teacher salary is funded through a grant from the Beverly Taylor Sorenson Foundation. While not a full-time position, these funds allow us to support a program that provides weekly lessons for students. Goal 2:&nbsp;Provide phonics and reading support for students in the younger grades. We are implementing a phonics program called 95% Group designed to help fill any gaps in phonics understanding for young students. Land Trust funds provided the means to hire two 12-hour assistants to work directly with students. Goal 3: Enrich student's school experiences though weekly engagement in physical education and activities in our STEM lab. (STEM is an acronym used to describe activities involving science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics.) We hired two PE assistants and two STEM assistants, each working 12 hours per week.
