Komodo Island is part of the Indonesian archipelago and is famous for being the home of the Komodo dragon.

NATURE RESERVES - FUJI-HAKONE-IZU NATIONAL PARK

We recently named Mount Fuji one of the most beautiful places in the word and at the foot of this sacred and still-active volcano is one of the most popular destinations among both Japanese and international tourists. It covers hot-spring-filled Hakone, less than two hours by bullet train from Tokyo, and Fuji-san’s Five Lakes. Waves of wildflowers show off their colours in the spring and summer months, as do the blush-tinted cherry blossoms during sakura season.

What does it mean for a species to be endangered?
Endangered species are the ones that are in danger of going extinct or being destroyed.
Why should we protect endangered species?
Because they are beautiful and unique.
Mention other endangered animals:
Rhinoceros, Whale Shark, Aye-aye, Regent Honeyeater, Dixie Valley Toad, Cheetah, Yangtze Finless Porpoise, Galapagos Penguin.
What should we do to protect these animals?
We shouldn't destroy animal habitats.
