The iguanodon used spikes for their defense, and it also traveled in herds to find their food.The iguanodon's moving herds also helped to protect themselves.

They lived in England, Belgium, Germany, Northern Africa and the USA.

The iguanodon ate leaves and used its beak to pull and tear the leaves. They gathered the leaves with their hands.
