Forms of Linear Equations

This form makes it easy to see where the line will fall, is it positive or negative or no slope at all? Look at the "m" to see. "m" is the slope, it tells us just how steep our lines will be.

Equations for straight lines come in three forms. There is standard, point-slope and just one more. The most used form is slope intercept for sure.

Slope intercept form helps us graph very quickly. It tells us a lot without mind numbing work. This equation will help you from going berserk!
