What is Evolution?

Evolution is the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and changed from earlier forms during the history of the earth.
1
Adaptations

Animals have to make adaptations through out their lives to survive. Adaptations are changes animals make to survive. So this is something as simple as growing thicker hair when it's cold outside. To completely changing the way they look for camouflage.
2
Fossils

Fossils are plants or animals that have died and decomposed and over time left impressions in rocks. We can tell a lot from fossils for example evolution. When looking at fossils from different time periods and see how they adapted, evolved, or changed.
3
Extinction

Extinction happens when environmental factors or evolutionary problems cause a species to die out. The disappearance of species from Earth is ongoing, and rates have varied over time. A quarter of mammals is at risk of extinction actually. So when animals can't make adaptations or evolve they face extinction.
