Everyone fears him. In Birmingham, the season explores the darkest corners of the human soul. Draven, , with his mysterious soul, leads the Peaky Blinders into a game in which every move counts. The Peaky Blinders will have to deploy/extend all their intelligence, cunning and wit to unmask and confront Draven and counter his deadly threat before Birmingham sinks into the shadows of the enigma that surrounds it. In this season, a special and cruel event happens one evening while the Peakies are all gathered around a diner. Draven gets all the assets and in a master stroke,he isolates Thomas in a room and kills him. The city is then plunged into and cold atmosphere of absolute sadness and grief. 1940, Birmingham&nbsp;: the Peaky Blinders gang succeeded in taking the control of the city. The town has become very insecure due to the many hoodlums in power. However, a new character arrives in Birmingham: his name is Mattia Colombo, he's Italian and runs a small mafia group called La Paqueta. Mattia tries to form an alliance with the Peaky Blinders. Yet Thomas Shelby and his crew don't accept him, and they take Mattia's mobsters lightly because of the size of the gang. But what the bookmakers didn't know was that Mattia is a highly intelligent, calculating and manipulative person. Above all, he has a huge ego and takes the humiliation of Thomas Shelby extremely seriously.

In the first part of the season, we watch as Mattia and his smugglers work out their plan for revenge. The series will focus on the Italian’s point of view, with very little interest in the Peaky Blinders. As such, we'll show the evolution and expansion of Mattia's crew to rival the thugs of Thomas. Mattia will, for example, come face to face with bands of crooks from other cities, and ally himself with some of them to show his evolution. In the second half of the season, we return to&nbsp;&nbsp;Thomas' bootleggers’ point of view : they realize their mistake in humiliating Mattia, the gangster, and notice La Paqueta's elevation. This second part then presents&nbsp;&nbsp;the way Mattia and his group defeat Thomas Shelby’s mobters. They fall to their lowest depths and return to the slums of Birmingham. In this season, set in Birmingham, England, Jacky will help Thomas Shelby regularize his business so that it becomes legal, and to thank him, Thomas Shelby will give him a bonus to pay for his sick mother's medical expenses. However, Jacky will be faced with a number of obstacles including altercations, sabotage, and people close to Thomas who have betrayed the business for economic reasons. Edward is a Nazi mobster who is beginning to gain influence in the middle of drugs and who is settling down in England, his influence and his small empire spread to the Peaky Blinders who started getting angry, it is not good for their customers and their business. At the end of a day, it is already dark and Edward goes home. “There is something wrong with my wife.”&nbsp; Edward enters their house but he doesn’t see his wife. As soon as he has entered, he sees like traces of struggle, broken glass, the house in a horrible state. He finds a letter on the table with a picture of his wife, on which is written: “ Meet me alone at the bar to find your wife or she dies.” He immediately understands that it was the retaliation of the Peaky Blinders after the influence and actions of his mafia in the bar. Edward was thinking, for example, about his drug trafficking. But as one says, don’t mix love and work.

Yet, she knows everything. At Tomy's. Tomy Shelby says : “If you don’t talk, you might die". I am not a hoodlum, my profession is located mostly in the crime.” It was obviously fake, it was a bluff. It's midnight, in a Liverpool nightclub. A brunette young woman comes in. Her name is Sabrina, a dangerous girl. She raised herself alone. Her parents were killed when she was 10 years old, now she is 19. In this place, she is determined to find a guy, Thomas Shelby, her parents' killer. When she sees him, she uncaps her lipstick and a small razor blade appears. She tries to stab Tommy in the back, but he is too fast and overpasses her. Then, a fight starts and Sabrina loses quickly. Thomas finds something strong and brave in her. He forces her to come back to Birmingham with him. The more she spends time with the Peaky Blinders, the more she allies with them for real, until she becomes a true Peaky Blinder. Some time later, after she had carried out successfully a few missions, she comes back to hear the devastating tragedy that touches the family.

Thomas' son had succumbed to a terrible illness. A month after this tragedy, Thomas spirals into a descent marked by alcoholism and seems to have a desperate appetite for risk. His actions reach a critical point after an attempt of robbery when he finds himself apprehended by a band of security guards. He kills them, witnessed by a stunned crowd. In that tragic act, Thomas sees the reflection of his lost son, taken away by illness. Sabrina, who had become his son's lover will support Thomas and give everything she can to help him overcome this ordeal.
