WHAT DOES THE TROPICAL RAINFOREST LOOK LIKE?
A tropical Forest has thousands of trees. These include very high trees with smooth and straight trunks with a minimum amount of branches on them. You can barely see the ground/dirt because of all of the leaves that have fallen down from the trees. There are also small plants like shrubs and very small trees. There are also thousands of different plants and animals. Wherever you look you see nature all around you it's like a magical garden right before your very eyes.

WHAT ARE THE NATURAL FEATURES OF THE TROPICAL RAINFOREST?
Some natural features in a tropical forest biome is that there are always the signature high tree’s with the long trunks. The tropical forest has 4 layers, the top layer is called emergent. The second is the canopy, there are a lot of animals included in the canopy, they include things like monkeys and sloths. The next layer is called the understory. Then last layer (basically the floor) is called the forest floor.
WHAT PLANTS LIVE IN THE TROPICAL RAINFOREST?
Some of the plants included in the tropical forest are Orchids, Philodendrons (you've probably seen one in your house before), Ferns, Broadsides, Kapok Trees, Banana Trees, Rubber Trees, Bam- boo, Trees, Cassava Trees, Avocado Trees. There are many more too like the Victoria Amazonian and the bromeliaceae (looks exactly like a pineapple)

ANIMALS LIVING IN THE TROPICAL RAINFOREST
The many animals in the tropical rainforest include unique green possums, ringtail possums, quolls , rare bats, tree-kangaroos, rat-kangaroos, melomys and antechinus. The tropical forest also includes a lot of insects. The insects the tropical biome can hold in this are creatures like crustaceans, worms, beetles, ants, spiders, scorpions, amblypygids, centipedes, millipedes, and the creatures we all know and love snails and slugs. There are many adaptations these creatures have had since they’ve lived in the tropical rainforest; for example tree kangaroos have adapted to tree’s and now have shorter legs, stronger forelimbs for climbing, and since they’ve now look different to many years ago because of these changes.

THREATS TO THE TROPICAL RAINFOREST
There are many threats to this beauty of a biome, these include harvesting wood from the tree’s which takes away many homes (logging),  clearing the land so people can construct farms, fires because of all of the large trees, the water supply included in this biome and the animals.
