THE SIX HAT MODEL
Put on your thinking hat.
BLUE - process
BLACK - cautions
WHITE - facts
RED - emotions
GREEN - creativity
YELLOW - positivity
Give a task/project (e.g.: decide whether the school canteen should sell sugary drinks or not, plan a family-day for your class) to the group. Each person takes a hat. One person must take notes throughout the discussions.
Discussion goes on for 1-2 minutes then change hats, except for the blue hat (this person chairs the meeting till the end of the game).
After the rounds, analyse which hat fitted you the most, how successful it was task-wise, where you had problems of think of something.
Present the results (positive-negative outcome) to the other groups.
