A place to discover & retreat with friends
Kindergarten Suben
A change of perspective
A unique and divers playhouse, which can be set up quickly without tools. It can also be stowed away to save space. This is very useful!
We adults were amazed and immediately enthusiastic.
HOWEVER ...
What would the children actually say about the KuWiH?
How would the kids use it for their games?
Would it be just as interesting and exciting for them as it is for us adults?
Adult perspective vs. child perspective
As the manager of a kindergarten, I confronted the owner Sam John Regner with our thoughts. During a very friendly phone call, we talked about the fact that in our kindergarten, the decisions about play materials are not made by the adults alone, but that the children are actively involved in the selection.
For us, children are central quality experts in educational institutions. Especially when it comes to issues that affect them, such as the game. Your views and opinions are valuable perspectives for us!

On the following pages we invite you to get involved with the perspectives and opinions of children about the KuWiH. It is important to know that all the pictures were taken by the children and show the children's perspective.
What are children's perspectives?
As specialists for children's perspectives*, it is important to us to perceive the opinions, ideas and relevance of the children in everyday pedagogical life and to include them in quality development.
Children are the most important actors in educational and care institutions.
Only by including their perspectives can we be close to the children's issues and interests. We know children have to feel good in order to be open to new things.
Experiencing the children's perspectives on a daily basis and also actively involving them makes our pedagogical profession so exciting and also professional.

Fast and easy delivery & assemblyLoading...
Two flat packages were delivered to us by post and a small house was quickly put together from six large panels. You really only need one adult to assemble it.
When we built the house, we experienced that many helping children are of great value in order to integrate the KuWiH into everyday play.

Click & ListenWe asked the children:
"What do you like the most

THE STARRY SKY
When we ask the children what they particularly like about the KUWIH, the first thing most children describe is the starry sky.
The starry sky will inspire you. The children stay there for a long time and watch the lights on the ceiling. Since the children can switch the starry sky on and off themselves, they also grow a bit in their self-competence.

The painting wall & the magic pen
The children are fascinated by painting with light in the KUWIH, the children are occupied and let them formulate questions that encourage them to think about this phenomenon together. Children can playfully refine their graphomotor skills and let their creativity run free.
A special retreat
Whether alone or with friends. The children use the KUWIH as a place where they can withdraw from time to time.
The special shape of the house allows the children to relax and rest and to be able to play undisturbed with their friends in protected places.
