Why do small habits make a big difference?

The difference a tiny improvement can make over time is astounding.  Here is how the Math works out:  If you can get 1 percent better each day for one year, you will end up 37 times better by the time you are done.  Conversely, if you get 1 percent worse each day for one year, you will decline nearly down to zero.  What starts as a small win or a minor setback accumulates into something much more.

Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement.  In the same way that money multiplies through compound interest, the effects of your habits multiply as you repeat them.  We often dismiss small changes because they don’t seem to matter very much at the moment.  We make a few changes, but the results never seem to come quickly and so we slide back into our previous routines.

A slight change in our daily habits can guide our life to a very different destination.  Making a choice that is 1 percent better or 1 percent worse seems insignificant at the moment, but over the span of moments that make up a lifetime these choices determine the difference between who you are and who you could be.  Success is the product of daily habits- not once-in-a-lifetime transformations.

We observed Engineer’s day on September 15 and remembered a few of the engineers turned entrepreneurs who have made a mark for our nation on the world stage. Shuttle Badminton is a fun and relaxing game, it has a legacy of more and more youngsters shifting to this game The 17th Attipetty tournament could witness many promising players who have put their heart and soul into games and rising to the professional level by playing some fast and aggressive shots.  At KAIROS 2022 our school offered a platform to unleash the cornucopia of talents of the young budding artists. The Assisi Talent Fest helped the students to hone their talents and unleash their hidden potential.

Hope that you all work towards making a one percent improvement in all that you do so that you make 37 times improvement by the end of the year.

Best Regards,
Suma Paul
