Dear Parents and Students,

“When you are kind to others, it not only changes you, it changes the world.” –Harold Kushner
A positive quote should be framed on the bedroom wall of the students which serves mostly as a motivating factor for children daily as they start the day. How beautiful it is to encounter such an unassuming learning activity as we begin each day with positive notes. The parents should intertwine smart learning with life lessons to boost the mental strength of their ward. Such activities are welcoming as they cultivate confidence and positive characteristics in people.

The month of January was for an outing and being in the company of friends. The various classes have embarked on one-day picnics. The students put on comfortable clothes and carried a backpack to have a fun-filled day with their classmates and teachers.

Two unique programmes were initiated in January, one was Art from the Heart and the second was the Assisi Round Table Conference. Both were one of a kind and garnered lots of attention from different corners. Both the printed and visual media had given wide coverage for the same. Our students got an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents and literary and debate skills.

We want all the students of our school to make full use of the opportunities given in the school. With full enthusiasm and vigour, they have to take part in programmes offered in the school to hone their latent potential.

Best Regards,
Suma Paul

INDIA’S INTERNATIONAL MOVEMENT TO UNITE NATIONS
On 10, January, 2023, a session was conducted by the Director of IIMUN, Master Dhruv Agarwal. Along with him, Master Atul Jose was also part of the session. The agenda of the session was to give an insight into the IIMUN Conference to be conducted on 3, 4 and 5 of February at Choice Public School. The session began with a silent prayer and without any delay, the stage was handed over to the resource person, Master Dhruv Agarwal. He began by narrating stories of his life and his introduction to IIMUN. IIMUN or India’s International Movement to Unite Nations, is a youth organisation comprising 26,000 young organisers who put together student conferences in 220 cities and 35 countries, and work with over 7,500 schools impacting 10 million students. A video giving a glimpse of IIMUN was also presented. He went on to explain the itinerary of the conference and the various committees that are part of it. Among the audience were the selected students of Class IX along with teachers. His carefree nature and way of delivery piqued the interest of everyone. At the end of the session, he gave us instructions on how to participate in the conference along with the contact details, and invited all to join it.
