You will need

Paper or card (you can use white paper and colour it in or use other materials like wool, feathers and buttons ect).

1 x A4 of a bright colour for the background

1 x A5 of green

1 x A4 of yellow.

1 x A5 of brown paper or something else that is brown that you would like to use for the centre of the flower.

Glue


Ruler


Pencil


A glass or a cup to draw round about 8 or 9 cm wide.

A glass or a cup to draw round about 6 or 7 cm wide.

PART 1
Take the green paper. On the short side measure 2cm in from the edge with a ruler.
Draw a line to make a strip with your pencil.
Using your scissors cut the strip out.
PART 2
Your strip should look like this.
Put glue on one side of the green strip. Take your background paper.
And stick the green strip to the short edge as shown in the picture above.
PART 3
Take your green paper again. On the same edge you cut from before measure 10cm in from the edge with a ruler.
Draw a line to make a strip with your pencil.
Using your scissors cut the strip out.
PART 4
Your strip should look like this.
Fold your strip in half.
Cut along the fold you just made.
PART 5
Draw a leaf shape on both pieces you have just cut out. See the picture above.
Using your scissors cut out your 2 leaves.
Your leaves should look like this.
