First, Colonists arrive in the new land. Native Americans already lived there, so there were disagreements, and war whisked upon the land. The Colonists won. The war was named "The French and Indian War." Secondly, the British King instituted taxes called "Acts" upon the Colonists. The British King had helped Colonists win the last war, so he needed them to repay him.

Finally, the Colonists were mad. The Window act, Sugar act, Tea act?! The Colonists were fed up with this. Tension raised and war was lingering in the shadows. War broke out. We don't speak with an accent and most of us don't like tea, so we can agree Colonists won. Every detail is important because it all leads to the final war - The American Revolution.

The Declaration of Independence

First, on March 13, 1776,
Tension begins to rise for the Independence Movement. Meanwhile, the King is against this and orders to set towns ablaze. But such acts only grew the votes for the movement for the Declaration of Independence. (DI). Secondly, on July 19, all 13 Congresses agreed to the signing of the DI. The Congresses won the vote for the DI.

Finally, on August 2nd, the DI was signed. John Hancock signed, first 56 other delegates after, and some find after August 2.

The Boston Massacre

The snow was glistening in the moonlight on the cold, dark night. It was March 5, 1770, and a little boy was headed for a redcoat. The soldier was standing stiff and still, guarding the customs house. The boy, however, did not approve of the redcoats. The boy shouted insults at the soldier, but he would not tolerate this. He ran from his sentry box, and madly whacked the kid with his musket.

The boy ran away crying, but the soldier would come to regret this. Later that night, the same boy came back. But he wasn't alone. "Lousy rascal! Bloody Back!" The kids yelled as they threw chunks of ice and snow at the redcoat. People where curious, for they heard this chatter, and a crowd formed around the little fight. The meeting bell echoed throughout the town, and men ran down the streets yelling, "Town born! Turn out!" More redcoats came. Later, 2 men where found dead, and 7 seriously injured.
