Introduction
Its nothing new that teaching institutes recruit faculties for teaching various subjects. Every teaching institute has its own system of working. The newly recruited teachers need to understand the work culture and learn the working system in order to get adapted and accommodated. This may be easy for some and some may find it difficult. But when the institutes are Universities, they come under large organizations and here the task of learning and adapting new system of work by newly recruited staff member becomes difficult and tricky. The system is so vast that mere understanding of different departments takes time and may confuse one.
Large organizations also feel that the new staff members should understand the work system and get in active work as early as possible. The delay in this may put the organizations at loss too.
Induction Programs are meant to make the new staff member know the work system and culture of the organization. They are not only made aware about the rules and protocols but also understand the formal and informal relationships
