Justyce Waea Allan
It was a day that started like just like any other.
The whole of Rm 10 and Justyce were going to camp for a week, Justyce wasn’t looking forward to it!. Think of that a WHOLE week, but least Ezekiel,Seth and Wairua were with him.
The camp was over at Rotorua near the redwoods, it was a pretty boring ride over and when they finally arrived at the camp,they see that it’s all old and they have to sleep in cabins, with hard bunk beds with no blankets and pillows.
The whole of Rm 10 and Justyce were going to camp for a week, Justyce wasn’t looking forward to it!. Think of that a WHOLE week, but least Ezekiel,Seth and Wairua were with him.
The camp was over at Rotorua near the redwoods, it was a pretty boring ride over and when they finally arrived at the camp,they see that it’s all old and they have to sleep in cabins, with hard bunk beds with no blankets and pillows.
They hopped off the bus to be greeted by a wrinkled old man with a soft spoken voice, he guided us to our very special cabins or as I call them ‘cavemens' homes’.
They walk into our room, “why!” screamed Eze suddenly, “where is my iPad”.
As they search for the ipad Justyce saw Seth in the corner with an evil smirk on his face.He obviously knew something about it.

After looking about some more, Justyce headed outside to find Eze but he’s not there so he ran to the hall to see everybody sitting down in an odd order.
Justyce realized that his once unique class has turned into an unemotional group of nothings, they seem to have no personality anymore, even Boston is quiet.
Justyce sat down to eat a droopy soup that smells disgusting. He took his first bite and his mouth screams in terror as it crawls down his throat. After dinner they had to go to bed early because of the long day ahead of us.
Justyce climbed into bed and went to sleep.
Justyce realized that his once unique class has turned into an unemotional group of nothings, they seem to have no personality anymore, even Boston is quiet.

Justyce slept until strange voices whispered ‘dark forest, dark forest, dark forest, he woke up in an instance and was sweating, his bed was soaked. He screamed.
His friends stood around him staring in confusion as to what happened, they thought he was having a nightmare. He stood up and they ran to the teachers room. Slam! Went the door as they rushed into the room to where the teachers were having a nice cup of tea.
“ I’m speechless” said Wairua, because it was so posh for a boring camp.
Mrs Puke stood up and asked Justyce why they were there and at such an odd time at night.
Justyce walked forward still wet with sweat and speak. “I had a nightmare about a dark forest and unnormal people whispering dark forest,dark forest.”
Mrs Puke laughed, “are you scared of dark forests and un normal beings”.
He replied, “yes”.
His friends stood around him staring in confusion as to what happened, they thought he was having a nightmare. He stood up and they ran to the teachers room. Slam! Went the door as they rushed into the room to where the teachers were having a nice cup of tea.
“ I’m speechless” said Wairua, because it was so posh for a boring camp.
Mrs Puke stood up and asked Justyce why they were there and at such an odd time at night.
Justyce walked forward still wet with sweat and speak. “I had a nightmare about a dark forest and unnormal people whispering dark forest,dark forest.”
Mrs Puke laughed, “are you scared of dark forests and un normal beings”.
He replied, “yes”.
Mrs Puke sent them back to their cabin, then the old man stepped in front of the door and growls. They all stood there in silence as he spoke in the voice of a lion and told them to never speak or go into the dark forest.
As they went back to bed they all sat down and thought about what to do.
“I think we should listen” said Wairua.
‘I think we should go’ commented Seth.
“I just want my ipad” sobbed Eze.
‘Well’ replied Justyce “I think we should wait until tomorrow”.
The next morning the whole of room 10 was woken by the sound of army music, according to Mrs Puke, the old man used to be a sergeant in the army.
They sat down for breakfast and to be honest it was a lot better than last nights dinner. Justyce sat there and ate his food looking around to admire the art and for a moment he thought camp was not that bad - Justyce didn’t know how wrong he was.
After breakfast they headed out to the field and saw the worst obstacle course of our life. they thought the army sergeant had set this course up but he didn’t look like he did. Justyce looked at all hisfriends and they ran back to the cabin to discuss the situation.
“What do think we should do” said seth. “I say when they are walking around town we'll sneak off to that dark forest”.
“Ahhh I don’t know about that what if they get lost or even worse we don’t come back?” thought Justyce.
“You’re a baby said Wairua.
“Be quiet” Justyce said.
That morning they all got up early so they could pack for the one day hike. After brekkie we packed our lunch for the day and set off on our magnificent journey. The bus dropped them off and the ground was so hard it felt like stone. they started their journey at the start of the redwood forest.
They walked past trees,trees and trees until they came to a sign that said Do not walk into this area unless you want to die.
