It was a sensation considering he only wanted New Orleans Trading Post and President Thomas Jefferson assigned Lewis and Clark to go and explore the new land so many more people could go and Lewis & Clark's maps were Published for the public so that the people living in the east could travel West. Also not all Lewis and Clark's interactions with Native Americans were good. These Maps allowed More people to travel West on what is now known as the Oregon Trail in the Oregon Trail the Gold Rush occur because people went West and found gold then there's a lot more people we're getting rich and moving West they invented the Transcontinental Railroad so that they could travel faster and cheaper across the land. but this all happened after Lewis and Clark.

Chapter 2
Lewis and Clark interacted with a lot of Native American.s They traded for food and knowledge They traded for foods such as dried meat and rye berries and knowledge of what plants and animals and directions for safety to help them on their travels. Here are some of the tribes that they traded with Shoney Ute and the Cheyenne tribe.
Lewis and Clark traded a lot of things with the Indians. Beads were one of the most common things that they would trade. Buttons also wear hydrating items. Some other things they traded or Metals such as gold iron in tin.Sometimes they would trade clothes but it wasn't common. For them trading was the only option to get items in comparison this is like us using money to stuff.

It was vital that they traded because they would not have enough food and other stuff to make it through and most definitely they would have ended up eating plans for going in directions that would have killed them if they would not have traded for knowledge and didn't interact with the Native Americans they would never have Sacagawea at there side to help them.
In conclusion if they never were to interact with Native Americans they would definitely not have made it home or made it as far as they did so it was key traded

Chapter 3
As I long for home on this long journey across the new land I heard captain Lewis say we were approaching a native american camp and to get prepared. I had always wanted to see a Native American camp. As we approached the Native American camp I smelled roasted Buffalo and Fire. I knew we were getting close so I prepped my trading items such as beads and some metals and buttons. In the distance I saw Buffalo. I was really craving some buffalo meat right now. So I was hoping that the Native American Camp had some dried buffalo meat that I can trade for. When we entered the Native American camp, I searched around for anybody who might have some dried buffalo meat. I decided to trade for some clothes and headed back to the ship.
