The front office is where our parents can call or email to get help to answer questions.

This month for community outreach, we will post locations that provide free ESL services for adults!

The International House of Charlotte <a href="https://www.ihclt.org/whatwedo/adult-education/">https://www.ihclt.org/whatwedo/adult-education/</a> Provides English instruction that is focused on vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing, and features a heavy life-skills component that includes sections on financial literacy, emergency preparedness, and community resources. This program also offers a&nbsp;citizenship class.

Central Piedmont Community College <a href="https://www.cpcc.edu/admissions/enroll/learn-english">https://www.cpcc.edu/admissions/enroll/learn-english</a> Provides basic English skills to beginner learners, who are age 16 and up.

Mango Languages, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library <a href="https://www.cmlibrary.org/resource/mango-languages">https://www.cmlibrary.org/resource/mango-languages</a> This is a virtual program through the library that offers over 17 ESL/ELL courses, featuring an engaging user interface, voice comparison, fresh design, foreign language films, and cultural anecdotes.

Listening, Speaking, Reading, &amp; Writing, at Home!

This month, our vocabulary will be centered around locations in our school. As we prepare to return to school, we will learn how to use these locations best in order to be safe.

Bathroom /'bɑ:θrʊm/

Each time I use the bathroom, I will wash my hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, so that I don’t spread germs.

Classroom /'klɑ:srʊm/

I will make sure to keep my desk clean and sanitized each day in my classroom.
