Let's make goals!!!!!!!!!
Goal n.6: Acqua pulita e servizi igienico sanitari
Worldwide, one out of three people don't have access to clean drinking water and two out of five people don't have a basic hand-washing facility with soap and water.

Goal n.7: Energia accessibile e pulita

13 percent og the global population still has no access to modern electricity. 3 billion people use wood, coal or animal waste for cooking and heating. Energy is the dominant contributor to climate change.

DANAI WITH US...
Dear Danai...
Thank you, Danai
Your lessons were very interesting and full of fun. We studied new topics in English and thanks to you it was easy to understand even difficult things.
Now we know that we must SAVE OUR PLANET, SAVE WATER, RECYCLE plastics and BECOME BETTER people. We have learned that we are lucky to live in this part of the world and to go to school because we can study, learn to read and write and choose freely our future.
These are the works we did together. They are very very nice!!
We will miss you so much.

Project report
During the Youth4Impact project in our classes, we learned a lot of interesting things about our wonderful planet and how to protect it for our future.
We watched some interesting videos about renewable energy, and we understood that it is very important to respect nature and to be good citizens in order to grow in a good way and become stronger and better teenagers.
We also understood the importance of water for our life and our planet and how we are lucky to live in a country where there is a big quantity of clean water and food and we are lucky to go to school where we are learning to read, write and use numbers. We understood that we are building our future in a good way.
We are sorry to have been a little bit passive and sometimes difficult students but we were very happy to have you with us as our teacher.
We hope your experience with us has been great for you and we hope you will remember us and our school.
Thanks Danai for your help. you have been a good teacher we wish you good luck for your future and remember …. if you come back to Italy, you will be always welcome in Bolgare.
WE WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH!
a big kiss from each of us

YOUTH 4 IMPACT report
Last October and November at the Secondary School of Bolgare we had a “special teacher”, Miss Danai Mouzaki, a Greek student that took part in the Youth 4 Impact project by AIESEC.
The aim of the project was to make students understand and be sensitive to environmental problems achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of the EU Parliament.
It was a wonderful experience for all the students at our school.
The topics were related to sustainable energy and energy saving; recycling and the process of recycling; water and water shortage.
All of them were achieved through videos, drawings, and by turning recyclable materials into artworks. The results were amazing!
Videos, data, and fun games were used to make the students understand that lack of energy is a problem that will grow in the upcoming years, and although there are alternatives, they are not enough yet. For now, saving energy and evolving technology is the best thing we can all do, especially in this period in which Italy is facing big problems with the lack of energy supply due to the war in Ukraine.
Related to the topic of recycling our students already understood the importance of recycling because recycling things in a proper way was already a part of their daily routine. So, we focused our attention more on the process of recycling and the problems that are caused by not recycling and producing trash without thinking about the consequences.
Then our “special” teacher taught us about the importance of water. We studied the water cycle and we discussed the serious problem of water shortage. Our students realized that the water shortage is real, and many people get deprived of their fundamental rights just because they were born in a third-world country. They studied that the lack of water has serious effects on humanity and the ecosystem, and they found it shocking that for many people, the thing that is keeping them alive is also slowly killing them. Lack of water relates to many other big problems humanity faces like poverty, animal extinction, child labour, and more.
The most important success of this project was that students learned a lot, not only about the specific topics but also about how to keep a more responsible attitude towards the environment and humans living in more unfortunate situations.
We are very sure that now students will think twice before throwing a piece of trash on the floor and will care to help improve the world in which we live because they understand that the Earth is our world, our house, our responsibility, and our future and THERE IS NO PLANET B.
