Chapter 1
It's Thursday afternoon and I am lying awake in my bed. I usually have to wake up at 8 am, but instead, I woke up at 7:50. As I wait for my name to be called, I start to get myself ready for the day. I am brushing my teeth and then I hear someone say "Time to get up Aura!" through the door. I mumble with toothpaste still in my mouth "I'm already up!". As I hear them walk away, I felt the ground start to rumble. I thought nothing of it and proceeded to get ready.

I finished brushing my teeth and start to change my clothes, and then the rumble starts to happen again, but this time it's ten times worse than before. As the rumbling continues the walls start to shake. Soon I heard someone else yell out "GET DOWN IT'S A EARTHQUAKE!" I try to crawl under my bed as quickly as possible, as the ceiling starts to crumble down. Before I knew it immense pieces of the ceiling started to fall, and I then faint out of fear.

I awoke from what felt like a dream. I looked at myself, I'm all dusty from the debris of the ceiling. I just start to question, "How did I get here?" I try to look around but everywhere I looked it was too foggy for me to see far away, though I could tell I was in a forest from all the trees nearby. "Where am I?" I think to myself. I wiped off the dust from my clothes and tried to get up. I was scared I might have gotten hurt from one of the pieces of the ceiling but I got up pretty easily. I didn't know what to do, it's not like it's an everyday thing to get lost in a forest. I was so stuck and was scared for my life. I didn't have anyone or anything to help me out. I've never been in this type of setting or been out in the woods with anyone. I was just completely lost. At that moment I had completely given up.

As my eyes teared up, I heard something. No, not something, it was the voice of a person. With a tear rolling down my cheek I yell out "Hello! Who's there,". I don't get any response. The only thing I hear is the wind and my voice echoing throughout the forest. I wiped away the tear and once again I yell out "Hello? Can you hear me?"

Once again I get no response. Great, now I'm starting to go crazy. As I throw my hands in my hair out of stress, I hear something. It seems to be that voice again. The voice sounded like it was far away, but I felt like they were talking to me. I couldn't make anything out of the voices, they were so faint to the point they sounded like whispers. I thought to myself, "What if they know where I am or have some knowledge on how to get out of here." I had to get to them somehow. They seemed to whisper more consistently, so I went in the direction in which I heard the voices.

The farther I walked, the more the mist thickened. I was almost to the point where I couldn't see anything at all. As I am walking towards the voice my stomach starts to grumble. I guess I would be hungry after not eating for a whole day. I yell out to the mysterious voice, "I'm going to stop and look for something to eat." While the mist was thick, I could hear a lake nearby. I walked towards the sound of water. There I find fish and different sea animals inside the water. I try to capture a fish but they moved too quickly for me to grab one.
I gave it a few more tries until I decided to give up. At that point, I decided to go and look for fruit on nearby trees. After looking from tree to tree for 5 minutes, I finally found an apple tree. I took three apples and ate them as a quick snack.

Once I finished the apples, I called out for the voice again. There it is again, sounding a little closer than it did before. I start walking towards the voice again. I started to notice again how thick the fog is getting. I look around to see almost nothing but the fog.
