Benjamin The Superdog
Once upon a time, there lived a peculiar dog named Benjamin in an old cottage house in Cambria, California near the aqua blue waters of the beach with his retired owners, John and Mary. He was the most perfect dog for his owners, and he would never do anything to disobey or hurt his masters. His owners never had children so Benjamin was a very special family member. He was both spoiled and tamed like no other dog in his town!
On one cold and cloudy day, Benjamin went missing. He was nowhere to be found or seen from the cottage front yard or any other nearby surroundings. His owners could not find him anywhere near their cottage. They called out his name, they whistled, but there was no response back. ( Benjamins Point of view) They were indeed worried and scared because never had they experienced a situation of this nature.
After a while and so much worrying, Benjamin’s owners found him about a mile away from their cottage; he was acting strange and in a very unusual manner. The funny and strange actions that all dogs do when alone! He was digging dirt holes everywhere. At first, Benjamin ran back and forth as if he were patrolling or monitoring other animals. Then, it all made sense! Benjamin was being helpful. Luckily, his parents found him that same day, late in the afternoon, helping little puppies and kittens find their way back home. At the same time, Benjamin was also helping a cat that was stuck in between the branches of a eucalyptus tree.
“All of the sudden from one day to another, Benjamin began to multitask,” his owners thought as they watched him without interrupting. When his parents saw him helping the other animals, they were so fascinated and proud of him. They didn’t know they were raising such a talented dog. They immediately stopped worrying and did not lose sight of their amazing and precious dog, their son.
