Karlovac grape harvest is a traditional manifestation in Sremski Karlovci, which consists of economic and cultural - artistic work. As the harvest usually starts in September or early October, then Grožđebal is also held.The goal of the event is to encourage and nurture the centuries-old tradition of viticulture, but also to improve tourism. The three-day program, from Friday to Sunday, takes place in the center of Sremski Karlovci, on Branko Radičević Square, where several stages are set up for the occasion. In recent years, in addition to the main stage where celebrities from the world of music perform, there is also a theater and tamburitza stage, dedicated to the bohemian culture of this region.During the harvest, between 50,000 and 100,000 visitors flock to Karlovac. Some are here because of the rich music program, some because of the entertainment for the youngest visitors, but most because of the quality Karlovac wines. The most important part of the program is certainly the sales exhibition of grapes, wine and authentic souvenirs.

Turkey is a country with old clothing traditions. Their roots are in the Ottoman Empire which has formed Turkish cultural and traditional heritage pretty much. One of the typical features of Turkish clothing is the usage of many layers. In traditional dress: Very often people wear trousers, a long robe and a jacket on top. Women usually wear several scarves or kerchiefs of different colors. Flamboyance is another typical thing for Turkey. The traditional attire is always colorful, bright and striking. One of the most amazing pieces of Turkish clothing is socks. They are handmade and very bright. A lot of different patterns are used. The yarn used for knitting is colorful, natural and warm.

GLORY, also known as baptismal glory, baptismal name, saint, is a Serbian folk-church custom even after Easter and Christmas, the third most important family holiday, always associated with the day of a particular Christian saint. It is so characteristic of Serbs that it is a sign of their recognition and identification.

On January 27, we celebrate the school celebration of "Saint Sava".

BIRTHDAY is the day of the year when the birth anniversary is celebrated. Children usually invite their friends from kindergarten or school. An unavoidable detail on a birthday is the birthday cake. Birthday presents are usually the most beautiful thing on birthdays and that is why children can't wait for their birthday. The most beautiful thing for them is to open birthday presents.

The period of the 18th century is characterized by another development in many fields, one of which is handicrafts and specifically the textile art. The products of the local textile were famous all over Greece and abroad. Tyrnavos was famous since the time of Justinian for its printed silks, its "stamps".

The inhabitants processed the silk and weaved it. Along with the silk fabrics, the well-known "buchaias" were also traded, cotton fabrics dyed with rice and blue dyed with indigo. It took time, patience and hard work for the stamps-molds, each of which was a unique work of art. Usually the self-taught stamp workers carved the stamps, which were made of soft wood (linden) or hard (wild gorgia). The stamp with a basic black outline was called "mother" or "uterus" and had the thinnest carving. Themes were drawn from the animal kingdom, from neoclassical, ancient Greek and modern motifs. Famous carvers in Tyrnavos were Leon. Sainis (end of 19th century) and Them. Ioannidis, who attended an Art School and his works were awarded twice at Thessaloniki's International Fair (1931,1935). In the heyday the workshops employed too many craftsmen.

Men's attire consists of short baggy trousers, a jacket, a shirt, a wide belt, a neckerchief, a headgear, socks, and slippers or boots. Male clothing is also rather bright and colorful, embroidered and decorated with jewelry. Stripes are the most popular among patterns on fabric. The headdress can be very interesting, high and unusual.

The Tirnavos Carnival is a custom with inaccessible roots in time. It has a history of at least 100 years. In recent years, the Tirnavos Carnival is considered the largest and best Carnival in Central Greece and is a Pan-Hellenic event. With the beginning of the Triodion, the carnival events begin, which last about a month. Cultural events take place, theatrical evenings are organized and of course all this is accompanied by plenty of music and dance. The events culminate on the last Sunday of Carnival with the Great Chariot Parade, which, inspired by tradition and timeliness and made with imagination and passion, give a special glamor to the Tirnavos Carnival. The soul of the Carnival, however, are the thousands of carnivalgoers, who, disguised in original costumes of various colors, flood the streets of the city, dance, have fun and have fun until the morning in the rhythms of Carnival, under the Tirnavian sky full of light and color!

About the project Homeland is the place where we were born and its wider surroundings. Each of us loves the place where he was born and his homeland - the area where he spent his childhood. The purpose of this project is to encourage students to research the cultural and natural heritage of the city in which they live and the wider environment - homeland. Homeland is more loved and carried in the heart if more is known about it. Therefore, through various activities, we will explore the past of our city, highlight the beauties of our city and homeland in the present and use digital tools to present to project partners. Students will develop responsible behavior towards the heritage of our ancestors and develop love for their city and homeland. Project activities will be implemented from October 2021 to June 2022.
