We were divided in groups, so students could guide us showing not  only the school equipment, but also the classes and the way of teaching.  Teachers did some activities meanwhile we were observing.

The first day, our incredible hosts received us with a warm welcoming. They had prepared severals activities with their students. They were waiting us sitting in the assembly hall with their teachers. It was a lovely surprise that we enjoyed a lot!

The school chorus delighted us with their angelical voices singing a variety of songs, ones traditionals and other more moderns. Later, they also played some intruments.

Ths beatuiful girl received us at the entry of the school with a tipical homemade salty bread. She was wearing the tipical Romanian Costume.

Students showed us a typical  Romanian dance and we were dancing with them. It was so fun! Finally, they danced together a spanish famous song.

Classes were so crowed because there are lots of studente there, but they were very quiet and kind. Teachers also have supporting students that are finishing their studies there and help in smaller classes.

Colegiul Național de Informatică Matei Basarab

Colegiul National de Informatica "Matei Basarab" Rm. Valcea is situated in the central-south area of Romania. There are about 2200 children in our institution. A third of them learn in primary school and the others in secondary school and highschool (6-18 years old). The school has 150 teachers. Additionally, the school supports students from families with low funds and limited financial capacities with the provision of special needs support (materials, and mobilities). Our institution helps every child to socialize and take part in activities.&nbsp; 	Extracurricular activities complement the training and education content and are organized according to students' interests, having a positive influence on children's development and scientific content, cultural, artistic, humanitarian, ecological, moral, civic and technical. School's educational offer is generous and carefully designed so that the instructive-education is student-centered and respect the particularities of age, interests and abilities of pupils.

Apart of visiting the school, we also did cultural trips and visits. We went to the town hall where we met the major and we have been talked about the hisotry of Ramnicu Valcea. Furthermore, we visited Municipal Library “Antim Ivireanu”, where we they explained theiir functions and we did a tour around it. Other fantastic and fresh visit was to the Salt mine Ocnele Mari. An incredible and fantastic place to spend time in family. It was really impressive. Other visit was to Horezu. There ,we visited a monastery and realized potery workshop. It was and old and quite creative job. We participated ellaborating some potery with the owner of the shop. The most beautiful or surprising visit was to Bran-Brasov. It was a field trips- incentive for reading and writing activities, where we visited Dracula castle and met his story. After that, we went to a huge and historical castle at Los Peles, where we met the story of the Romaniaan royalty. Our las trip was a tour in Bucharest, where we visited the Palace of the Parliament and the national Library where they showed us their equipmeent and their fonctions.

During the week, we realised several seminars. Each country was in charge of preparing one, so we learned and discuss about these topics: - Increased reading ability and the development of reading interest. - Reading importance: teachers, parents -Enhancing and refining reading skills - Conference- Developing reading - Fluency- methods, steps, strategies - Curriculum integration of the project results. We realised most of them in the school, but also we did one in the municipal library and atoher in the conference room in our hotel. They were very practical and productive.

Râmnicu Vâlcea is a city with the status of a municipality in Romania. It is the capital and the largest city of the Vâlcea district. It has a population of 107,726 inhabitants (2002 census) and has an important railway complex. Râmnicu Vâlcea is located near the center of the country. The city is crossed by 2 national highways (DN7 and DN62) and a European highway (E81). The city is located on the right bank of the Olt River, at an altitude of 240-260 meters. <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mititei">Mititei or Mici</a>&nbsp;(both meaning “little ones”/”small ones”) is a Romanian dish consisting of grilled ground meat made from a mixture of beef, lamb and pork with spices, such as garlic, black pepper, thyme, coriander, anise, savory, and sometimes a touch of paprika and formed into cylindrical rolls.

Method First, cut the beef into cubes. Cut the pork breast into pieces and place it next to the beef. Put in the finest cutting plate in the meat grinder and put all the meat through it, including the garlic cloves. Crush all the spices (except the baking soda) in a pestle and mortar, making a floury and flavorful powder. Put the minced meat into a food processor The mixture needs to be kneaded hard for a few minutes. Put the ground spices and baking soda over the meat and start the food processor. At first, the homemade mici paste is very thick and hard to knead. Gradually add cold bone soup and knead everything for about 7-8 minutes. The mixture becomes fluffy and soft. Do not put in all the liquid if you feel that 250 or 300 ml is enough. Put the mixture into a clean bowl, cover it with plastic or aluminum foil and put it in the fridge overnight. Take the mici mixture out of the fridge and leave it on the side for 30 minutes to warm up a bit. Then kneaded the meat for 2-3 minutes by hands to aerate it.&nbsp;Take a confectionery bag and cut its corner to 4 cm. Fill it with the meat paste, then draw long lines with it on an oiled plastic cutting board. Very easy and fast work! Don’t make them too thin because they dry up when fried! Then cut the mici to 10 cm. Brush them all over with oil Grease a baking tray with oil and place on the mici, smoothing the tops a little so they look beautiful. Place foil over them and put them back in the fridge. The mici should be put on the grill when they are still cold. This does not apply to slices or large pieces of meat that need to sit before being fried.
