Did you know that flies live near what they eat?  Flies live in meadows, forests, on dead animals, and garbage.

Did you know that flies eat other insects? Flies eat dead animals and nectar and garbage. They also eat rotten meat and fruit.

 Female flies eat blood to help them lay eggs. There are at least 100,000 kinds of flies in the world. Some fly larvae are called maggots. Flies are found worldwide. Flies have hair on their body. Flies eat other insects.

Did you know that flies have hair on their body?

Flies are insects with two wings and two big eyes that can see in any direction.
