Creating a soundscape

A soundscape is a series of sounds created by the chorus (not words or echoes etc) this is used to create a setting or suggest a scene. It may have wind, creaking branches, birdsong etc. A soundscapes main purpose though is to set the scene and atmosphere.

Creating a soundscape

Create a soundscape in your groups to set the scene and atmosphere for a scene of your choice (you will be adding chorus speech to this in the next part so pick carefully)
You should edit your soundscape in garage band.

Success criteria:
We have sounds that suggest a setting
Our sounds create a specific atmosphere
We have all participated in our soundscape.
We have edited our sounds together to make a cohesive soundscape

Adding choral voice to your soundscape

Using at least one of the choral techniques create a chorus to add to your soundscape. You can use the given script or create one of your own.

Success criteria:
We have used at least one of the choral techniques
We have used voice to complement the atmosphere created in the soundscape.
We have added the vocals to our soundscape recording.
