What I wish I knew...

Something i wish i knew before coming up to year 7 is to always be prepared like bring extra pencils

I wish I knew that you can go on the field or stay on the plaza at lunch or recess and you can buy lunch and snacks from the tuck shop

I wish i knew to color code my timetable to get to my classes faster

i wonder if i can have a laptop? Well you can!

if you do it will be annoying

make sure you don't lose your timetable

if you do it will be extremely hard to get to all your classes

don't have all your things in one backpack

You can also listen to music at home- just be careful about what you watch!

You can also watch YouTube in the library!

You still should bring headphones or earphones

We're not allowed to listen to music in all categories (pop, rock)

you get less homework in year 7 than in year 6 so i was happy when i started year 7. :p ツツツツ

Do your homework and don't procrastinate!!!!!

Don't waste your life on your playstation. study for tests. (and also get and xbox instead)

When your in Year 7 make sure to keep your friends and make new ones. New students might come just remember to keep an open mind and make them feel welcomed.

I wish i knew to leave my supplies in my locker unless the class they are needed in is within 1 or 2 periods because your bags will get to heavy.

I wish I knew that if i was playing on the feild and had a class upstairs, to leave the feild 5 minutes early so i won't be late for class.&#160;

I Wish I Knew not to do my homework last minute.

I wish i knew to take being late to a class seriously.

I wish i knew to come prepared to every class with a pencil case.

I wish i knew that learnig in class isn't enough for a test. You have to study!!!!

Leave stuff in your locker that you don't need because your bag gets very heavy

Don't be afraid to take opportunities that come up in middle school. Saltus has a lot to offer and some are very exciting and educational.

our favorite fun and educational trip that our school did was to Endeavor for a week. We got to sail hobie cats and it was a great way to spend time with some friends that i hadn't really hung out with in a while. we got to improve on skills like communication, teamwork, organization and learning through sailing. It was so much fun and we learned lots overall.

Do your homework! Don't wait till the last minute to try and squeeze it all in😊👍🥝🌮⚽🥑🍓🍉🥥🦄

Remember to leave stuff in your locker so you don't have a heavy backpack because when you're older you'll have a hurt back from not leaving stuff in your locker👍😊🥑

Bring an oceans worth of pens!!! Like a lot of pens. like tons.

How much homework? Not a lot. But get it done! or else your gonna have to stay in at 3:30!

When You Enter Year 7, You Should Make Sure...

Make Sure You Pack Your Bags With Everything You Need! Year 7 Is Awesome But... You Need To Be Ready! If You Have Your Bag Ready With Everything You Need It Will Be So Much Easier. Such Items Include: Pencil Case With Pens, Pencils, Pencil Sharpeners, Erasers, Calculators, and Compases. You Also Have To Keep Your Computer In Your Computer Case Unless You Are Using It. To Make Sure Finding And Keeping Homework safe Is Easy, You Can Get A Folder To Keep Them In! Just Keep Organized and You'll Be Fine! Sounds Easy Right?

Don't wear wristbands, hair ties and jewellery on your wrists. 

The ski trip is awsome and you should go on it because it is very fun

Just a great year and there is not as much homework as you think!

The homework is easy but if you struggle you can get help!

Walking up and down the stairs could be VERY tiring so make sure to have a light bag!! 

Year 7 is lots of fun when you remember to stay organised. So, the lesson is... STAY ORGANISED!!!!!!!!!

Be careful with your laptop because you have to pay for repairs and it costs 2000 dollars.

Don't mess with secures because they will screenshot you.

their are room numbers for every class and they are very easy to find. They help you find your way

After a few weeks it will be very easy to find everything and you won't need to look at the room numbers anymore

if you do get lost any teacher or other student would be happy to help you find your way

Don't get into fights cause you'll get an IN SCHOOL SUSPENSION

They say that you'll get hours of homework each night- you actually get 10 minutes a week (apart from science and Geography)
