Because there is no licensing apparatus for roofing contractors in Kentucky, KRCA developed contractor certification. This is a non-governmental way to assure the buying public that a certified contractor is:

Insured with minimum $1 million business liability and workers’ compensation insurance

Bonded with a $10,000 judgment bond

Committed to the KRCA Code of Ethics

Participating in extensive continuing education
