Her name is Helena, she is 10 years old and she lives in Kabul, in Afghanistan.
The Talibans have ruled Afghanistan since August 2021. Since then, girls and women have lost their rights, such as the right to education. But the entire population also began to be hungry and there was no longer enough food for everyone.
And how can we help Helena and her friends?
This is Helena's neighbourhood.
Helena cannot go to school, because she is a girl and in Afghanistan not all girls have the right to education.
She can't go to school, so let's make school go to her!
We need books, notebooks, pencils and pens. And a woman teacher, because in Afghanistan girls cannot have contact with men who are not their family. And will there be more girls wanting to learn? Of course!
But Helena, her family and friends also have nothing to eat.
