Book Creator&nbsp;is a simple tool for creating awesome digital books. Create your own teaching resources or have your students take control. Combine text, images, audio and video to create: interactive stories. digital portfolios. and so much more.

Combine Multiple Books into One

1. Click the&nbsp;Books&nbsp;button beneath any book. 2. Choose&nbsp;Combine books. 3. Select the books you want to combine - choose them in the order you want them to display in the book. 4. Click&nbsp;Next. 5. Give the new combined book a name. You can also change the author name if you need to. Then click&nbsp;Create Book. You'll see your new book appear on the bookshelf, with an auto-generated front cover - you can edit this if you need to.

Working on a Page Together

Publish &amp; Print Books

Student View - Click the share icon below your book. - Download as eBook - saves book as an epub digital book to view on screen. Print - Prints book in PDF format - Publish books can be edited at anytime. Changes will show immediately in published book.

Teacher View - Click the share icon below your book. - Download as eBook - saves book as an epub digital book to view on screen. Print - Prints book in PDF format - Publish online option is only available to teachers.&nbsp; This will create a website for the book to be viewed online. - Teachers will need to publish each of their students' books to make them available online.

Panels First, add a panel layout. There'll be a slightly different set depending on which page orientation you chose. Once a panel layout is added, you can add an image to it by tapping on the photo icon (to add an image from your iPad library) or the camera icon (to take a picture with your iPad). Backgrounds Tap the&nbsp;Inspector&nbsp;(i) in the toolbar and make sure you're on the&nbsp;Page&nbsp;tab to add a comic style background. Tap&nbsp;More&nbsp;to access all the original backgrounds in Book Creator. Speech Bubbles When you add a speech or thought bubble, you can type directly into it. If you want to change the look of the bubble, tap the&nbsp;Inspector&nbsp;when the bubble is highlighted. Text When you tap&nbsp;Add Text&nbsp;you'll see a selection of pre-styled texts. To edit the text, simply tap the&nbsp;Inspector. Stickers Choose from our pre-designed stickers or select a blank one and add your text over the top of it. Adding Audio and Video You can still add audio and video to your comic books. Tap the + button and switch to the&nbsp;Media&nbsp;tab at the bottom of the menu.

Collaborating and Combining Books

Add Students to Your Book Creator Library

Once you've&nbsp;<a href="https://intercom.help/bookcreator/book-creator-for-chrome/working-with-libraries/creating-a-new-library">created a library</a>, you can invite others to it by sharing your library code. To get your library code the easiest way is to click on&nbsp;Show invite code for others to join&nbsp;link that you'll see in the centre of the screen, just below the toolbar.

1. Students sign in as a student <a href="https://app.bookcreator.com/">bookcreator.com</a> 2. They will sign up using their FM Google account. 3. Once they've signed in, they'll be prompted to enter your library code. 4. Type it in, click&nbsp;GO, then the student will be added to your library.&nbsp;

Make Books Collaborative

Share the book to make it collaborative - Choose a book and click on the&nbsp;Share&nbsp;icon beneath the book, then choose&nbsp;Collaborate. - Only teacher accounts in their own libraries have the rights to make a book collaborative. - A collaborative book can be worked on by more than one student at a time.
