Gabriel's grandmother is a very independent and modern woman. She owns a hotel and explained us an anecdote that happened to her. At times when women didn't used to wear trousers, she designed her own suit consisting of a blazer and trousers. She went to spend the day in Barcelona and for her surprised, people started calling her nasty names because she was wearing trousers!!!!

Our Croatian colleagues explained the story of the old lady grandma Bose, a woman over 90 years old. Here is the illustration one of our students has made of your student's grandma. by Gabriel Ortega

The dramatic and random story of Suri's grandfather from Ecuador: This is the story of Gonzalo Aurelio Mero Ruiz and was Suri’s grandfather. On 9th of December of 2014, in Manta (Ecuador), Gonzalo was going home after work with his motorcycle when suddenly... a taxi ran over Gonzalo. He died in that tragic accident at the moment. Before this happened, he was a womanizer! He had 10 lovers but he was engaged with Bella Velez, Suri’s grandmother. It was known that he was in Manta with one of his lovers. When he died, the inheritance was left to Bella, his wife and the lovers got mad at her. Ioana P., Suri C., Abril S. and Laila A.

Olga, a 57-year-old woman, who was born in Vilanova i la Geltrú, tells us the story that when she was little she had a large family made up of 9 siblings plus cousins, plus her parents, who were known as the “donkey family” because of the rides that they used to do together in a carriage carried by a donkey. They had the tradition of attending the parade that was held on January 17 called "Els tres tombs” (the three laps) that is still celebrated today in Catalonia, Spain. Els tres tombs is a festival that consists of parading through the cities in three circles. (As the name of the event says) with horses and donkeys. They attended all the parades that were in the surrounding cities and won almost all&nbsp;the competitions because they were a large family in a single cart carried by a single donkey, until one day, the father of the family passed away and since then they have not returned to participate in any other parade.

Stories of Juan (Joan's grandfather) When he was a child he lived in Vilanova, however Juan wasn’t living a regular life. There are some stories of his life: - When he was 7 years old, Juan went hunting partridges in the forest. One day while he was preparing the traps he hooked a finger and almost lost it. - Since he worked all morning in the fields, he went to adult school at night. Smoking was allowed in class and once he fainted from the smoke. - He was working in a company that was in charge of paving the roads and one day when it was very windy, the asphalt was lifted and it hit his face and when he tried to remove it it peeled off his skin. We were very happy to know that Nicolasa Cardoso's logo design was the most voted.

Rayme, Ramón, Álex, Cloe and Abel explained that their grandparents' Leasure time at the same age they are now&nbsp;was much different from theirs. They didn't used to meet after school, but if sometime they were allowed to go out to meet their friends, they would go down the Ramblas, which is a wide and long pedestrian walk, and would walk along, up and down, down and up, while talking and having a laugh. They would also meet at the Plaça de la Vila, the main square where the Town hall is. Some of the activities they did was skipping the rope or play football. They also used to like making friends with tourists, they went dancing, play hopscotch or occasionally go to the movies.

Brela is situated 15 km north-west of Makarska, on the steep Biokovo foothills. The population there is engaged in winegrowing, olive growing, growing of marasca cherries and figs, and tourism. Brela is the springs of beauty because of its natural features: a thick pine wood descending all the way to the beautiful gravel beaches and the clear sea. It has been known as one of the most attractive tourist places in Croatia. It is the winner of thr European ecological award "Blue flag" for years 1999-2001.

Draw my life about Martina's grandfather.

In order to let our educative community know about this project we have done several actions. We have prepared a big display on one of the walls of the hall with several images and examples of things the students have done. Parallel to that, we have made several videos and a quizz to play in the first grade of ESO, since they are the students who will take part in an eTwinning project next academic year. Parents will get an email with the link to the digital books once they are published. Finally, the project will be publish in all our website and social media (Instagram, facebook and twitter)
