Welcome to the Aspire Academy Trust.

Aspire is a vibrant, highly successful and widely recognised Trust determined to raise standards of educational achievement to the very highest levels. We don’t just aim for our children to achieve what is average or expected, but for them to excel both academically and in character.

9.00 - 10.30: Morning learning
10.30 - 11.00: Free-flow snack

Reporting Absences

If your child is going to be absent from school due to illness, then please inform the office before 9am in the morning, and let us know why your child is going to be absent, and when you expect them to return.

You may either phone the office on 01726 822274 and leave a message or alternatively send an email to hello@whitemoor.org.uk

When reporting an absence, please leave a message on each day of your child's absence, telling us:

- Your child's name
- Class name/Year group
- Why they are absent (Type of illness e.g sickness, migraine)
- When you expect them to return

School Lunches

School lunches can be booked daily, weekly, monthly or termly on Parent Pay and cost £2.35. If your child is in Year R, 1 or 2 they are entitled to Universal Free school Meals. If you think you may be entitled to benefits-related Free School Meals, check your eligibility before you make an application.

Vision & Values - Learning for Life

Our expectation for character and academic standards are high. We want all of our children to be ambitious in life. Our aim is to provide the children in our care with the best possible start in life and to support your child to develop into a confident individual, who understands their rights and responsibilities as a member of our school and the wider community.

We encourage all our children to follow our school rules:

- Treat others as you would like to be treated

Early Years Curriculum

In our Early Years classroom we enjoy learning through play. The areas of learning in the classroom have been designed to primarily help the children develop their communication and language, personal social and emotional development and their gross and fine motor skills.

The activities provided each week are targeted to these 3 prime areas of learning to enable children to extend their skills and learning. Our curriculum is based on favourite stories and themes across the year, and is based upon the interests of the children in the class.

For early literacy development, we follow the Read Write Inc Phonics scheme, and for maths development we follow the Early Years White Rose Maths scheme.

School Dinners

Children in Reception (and up to Year 2) are provided with a free school meal each day. Children have the option to change their dinner choice on a daily basis. There is a more detailed menu on our website but here are some choices they can choose:
