Head of School Welcome
Parent survey
As Head of School, I am always interested in feedback from parents/carers so that we can continue to make our school a better place for the children. For this reason, I ask parents to complete a termly survey to give me an overview of how you feel about our school. This survey is completely anonymous, so I ask that if you have specific feedback, you please do pop in for a chat or send an email to so that we can act on this.

Please complete the survey by Friday 6th November.
If you would prefer a paper copy, then please speak to Mrs Dowd in the office who can provide you with one.

Thank you.

Card games
We are on the lookout for any unwanted children's card games that we could use in school during wet play times and in the dinner hall whilst the children wait to be served. If you have any games at home that you no longer need/want, then please consider dropping them into us over the next two weeks. We would be very grateful.

Games such as: Uno, Top Trumps, Dobble etc.
We do ask that all card games are in good condition and do not have missing cards.
Thank you!

Class 2: We will be using mixed materials to create collages.

Class 3: On Art Day Class 3 will be working with Clay.

This week in class...
Class 1

Class 1 have been enjoying exploring their senses this week. The children have enjoyed a senses walk, and had lots of opportunity in the classroom to think about what they can see, hear, taste, touch and smell.
As part of our topic 'Can we be friends?' class 1 have been reading 'The Rainbow Fish' and the children have shown great understanding of kindness and sharing in their discussion of the story.
Children in reception have started their math's lessons this week, the class have really enjoyed matching, sorting and comparing objects.
A good at home learning challenge this week is to use your senses at home - what can you see, taste and smell in the kitchen? We'd love to see pictures or videos posted to Tapestry of what you find.
