Welcome to Willow Class 2020!

We hope you are having a lovely summer holiday.
We are really looking forward to welcoming you all back to school soon. Year 3 children, welcome to our class and KS2! Year 4 children, welcome back! We hope you enjoy being the older ones in the class this year.

We thought it would be useful to share some information with you about how school might be in September as it will be slightly different to normal. We hope that it is useful to see what changes there are in place to help keep you all safe.

We know that you might be feeling a little anxious about returning and that is completely normal and to be expected. We want to help your return to school be a happy and safe one.

We are here to answer any questions that you may have.

Arriving at school

When you arrive at school, you will enter through the normal gate but instead of going through the foyer to get to the classroom, you will go through the small gate on the playground, near the bark area and access the classroom via the field.

From the field, you will enter the classroom through these doors (the doors we go normally go out of to get to the field).

Play time

At play time, there will be a specific area that you will need to play in. We will tell you which area is for our class in September. All classes will have a time for break so it might not be at the 'normal' time.

Play time

Our class will have our own play equipment. You will just need to wash your hands after using any equipment. This will be washed regularly by the adults.

In the classroom

We will have a cleansing station in the classroom near the door with hand gel and tissues.

You will need to use the hand gel whenever you come in the classroom and whenever you leave.

In the classroom

The tables will be set up so you are facing the front at all times. You will be on the same table as a friend. The tables will be set up in rows and you will have your own equipment in your space.

Lunch time

We will be eating Lunch in our classroom together. If you are a hot dinner, the dinner lady will bring you your lunch on a trolley and you will be eating from a takeaway box (like the ones we use at certain events). If you are packed lunch, you will eat from your lunch box as normal.
