MY TRIP TO ELLIS ISLANDLoading...
Dear Dad,
I wake up to bombs and gunshots cracking in the sky I know it is time to leave. I start to pack but I can’t,the gunshots get louder. I take twenty dollars. And I brought Bailey my dog and his favorite treats. I go to the docks, on my way I gave Bailey a treat.
Sincerely
Jason

Dear Dad,
At the docks I saw a sign that said no dogs! So I put Bailey in my bag while I was putting him in my bag he barked. And then the guy that gives people tickets walked down the dock .The woman behind me said ‘‘alright, you caught me’’ and ran. The man ran after her soon everybody in front of me was gone . A man behind me said ‘‘go’’so I ran on the ship.
Sincerely

Dear Dad,
About ten minutes into the trip I went down to steerage, the name sounded cooler than it actually was don’t ever go in steerage. I heard a whimper and then I remembered that Bailey was still in my bag, I looked everywhere I kept following his little whimper. The whimper got louder and louder and I found my bag. I unbuttoned it and I saw his little face and I knew he was ok.
Sincerely
Jason
