Suggested Daily Timetable
We have used the 5 Ways to Wellbeing to help develop a schoolwide timetable. This will allow students to explore a range of activities and ensure exposure to learning. We believe this approach will be manageable for parents who may have continued work expectations and limited resources.
Guidelines for Parents
1. Please use our suggested timetable as a guide only. This must work around your families commitments.

2. Do establish routines and expectations for your family.

3. Define a space in the house where your child can do their learning.

4. Check email communications daily and follow our school facebook page.

5. Check in with your child at the beginning and end of each day - what are their plans for the day? Is there anything they struggled with today? What went well?

6. Establish times for quiet reflection.

7. Encourage physical activity.

8. Remain mindful of your child's stress or worry.

9. Monitor how much time is spent online.

10. Communicate with your class teacher via email.

11. Don't be afraid to ask for help if needed.

Staying Safe Online
1. Check apps and games before children start using them.
2. Review all privacy settings of apps.
3. Check your child's profiles and what they are sharing online.
4. Check the sites your child is accessing
5. Remind children that anything that is posted online will be permanently on the internet
6. Take the time to understand what sites they are visiting and who they are talking with and check in regularly
7. Some social media sites have age restrictions to join, check these before letting your child use them or join them
8. Monitor a child’s use of the internet and consider having them use it in an open, common area of the house
9. make sure your children know to report any activity they don’t feel comfortable with to parents and caregivers straight away.
