It's the most romantic day of the year in Wales, gifts and cards are exchanged, some go for walks on deserted beaches, carve love spoons, snuggle in front of a fire.

Annual orchid festival

Every year from the first weeks of February to mid-March Kew Gardens organizes its annual Orchid Festival, if you are interested in flora it is an opportunity not to be missed and an experience that only London can offer you.

It is held at the Princess Of Wales Conservatory, a space reserved for displaying these beautiful flowers.

They are located in the center of London and are impressive for the beauty they give off.

Mothering Sunday

It is celebrated on the last Sunday of March.

It's like Mother's Day but with another story, the tradition goes back to the 17th century, when children started working at the age of 10 as apprentices and on this day they were allowed to go see their mothers.

Their children after so long brought them flowers and sweets, and from there came the Simnel Cake, a typical fruit cake decorated with flowers.

Yacht race Oxford-Cambridge

It is a rowing competition between the universities of Oxford and Cambridge that is held every April on the River Thames in London.
