Welcome to my about me page! My name is Monica and I am a student in high school right now. As you can see, as my photo I put a picture of my dog. Hello, and welcome to my artboook! In this book I will be showing off all of the art that I have created over the last few maker classes! We started with different types of lettering. Our task was to write a word in different styles. I chose block lettering because I thought that it would be the most fun! There isn’t really and specific reason for the colour, either, it’s just something that I wanted to add! From this project I learned how to show depth and create different lettering styles using sketches pro, because it is an important app to learn how to use.

In this part of the project, we were designing logos. Mine is for a social media platform for artists to share their creations, which is the reason for the paint splatter. The panda I added because I thought that it would be a cute thing to add as a sort of mascot. This project was really important because It allowed me to show my logo designing skills. I learned how to blend different colors, how to use different brushes and the fill tool, and even use the airbrush, even if that never made it into the final idea

In the second part of our project, we practiced making emojis! The main point of our project was to learn how to use sketches pro, and this was a great way to let us figure the app out! I chose the shushing emoji because I thought that it was funny. When we were told to pick an emoji, I saw that one first, and I found it cute. It wasn’t the best interpretation, but I thought that it turned out okay. Through this project, I learned how to use the blend tool and how to copy an image. I learned how to use layers, and I also had a lot of fun!

In the third project, we were told to create a robot using diffwerent shading techniques and to add depth using different colors. I couldnt think of a robot to draw, so instead I tried to draw baymax from memory… please don’t judge my drawing. In this project I learned how to shade using sketches pro and how to use different ruler tools!
