We had an assembly all about our "Forefield 5" and how they support our emotional well being. The children use these characters to help themselves and each other in their emotional well -being.

We know that the primary colours are red yellow and blue. We studied the work of Mondrian and created our own abstracts

We made a colour wheel and know that the secondary colours are orange purple and green

We learnt how to use pastels and to use hard for bold and soft for light colours. 

RE

We have shared stories of how Christians think of God.

When we shared the story of Daniel we discussed some questions.

What is praying? " Praying is just talking to God."

Why was Daniel arrested? "Because he didn't stop talking to God."

How did he feel? "He was sad and scared."

What happened when Daniel went into the den? "He didn't get eaten by the lions."

We talked about the creation story and talked about how we can look after each other

What ways can we help to look after God's creation?
